 Organization structure of a hospital

The nature and size of the organization of a hospital differ according to its requirement. The organization of a big hospital has two different sections, one of the clinical administrations and other is the office administration. 

The clinical administration and the office administration has different division or department, and every section is headed by a qualified person with specialization and experience in the particular subject. Large administration requires individuals with special training and education in hospital administration.

Medium size hospital and the small one which may not have all the requirement as mentioned above. They added whenever necessary. Because these hospitals are too big to be managed by an individual, the Government and the trust forms of committee are managing their administration.

 These committees are called Governing council or Board of direction. They have members from trust and various department from the hospital even people from outside. Peoples like MLA, MP, MLC, MC are often given membership government hospital council to function effectively.

Apart from these, there are various committees like finance committee, department committee, purchase committee, ethical committee etc. Big hospitals are well - organized and function smoothly.
